Belkasoft Acquisition Tool (or BelkaImager) allows you to make images of hard and removable drives, Android and iOS devices, and download Cloud data.
Belkasoft Acquisition Tool helps investigators to complete one of the most important steps of investigation: obtaining data from a data source. Four types of data sources are currently supported:
- Hard or removable drives
- Mobile devices
- Computer RAM memory
- Cloud data
Hard and removable drive imaging
Mobile device acquisition
The product acquires data from Android and iOS devices (iPhones, iPADs), including latest iOS versions. For iOS, a standard iTunes logical backup is created (by default, it is encrypted with a password), and if a jailbreak is installed on the device, it is possible to get a full copy of the iOS file system. In addition, authentication through lockdown files is possible. For Android, there are several options: the standard logical ADB backup or agent-based backup; physical backup for rooted devices; acquiring flash memory in Odin mode (for Android devices with Qualcomm processors) and using MTP.
RAM capturing
RAM memory of a running Windows computer, laptop or tablet can be dumped in a raw format.
Cloud data downloading
BelkaImager can download data from most important clouds such as Google, WhatsApp, Instagram and all popular email clouds.
